Clear your schedule for T-Stats Summer Camp, a six week course taking an in-depth look each T-Stat cube.  Starting on Monday, June 29th at 4 pm and running every Monday through Monday, August 3rd, we will have an hour of training followed by thirty minutes of Q&A with each session being dedicated to one cube.  We encourage you to bring your laptop and follow along as some advanced T-Stat-ers lead you through the core concepts and tried and true recipes for each cube.  There will be assignments to take home, work on and turn in so that the training really sticks.  This training is designed to be intro to intermediate with the goal of giving you the tools to get started using T-Stats on your own whenever an appropriate use case arises.  The training schedule is below.  We can’t wait to see your bright shining faces there!  Please RSVP for each session to jana.kelly@attpac.org so that we can prepare the training spaces and send you a meeting request with some pre-training materials.

Can’t attend?  Don’t worry!  We will be recording these sessions and uploading them to our DFW TUG website and are even going to try to livestream the training in case you can’t be away from your desk but don’t want to miss all the fun!

    Tom,

We'd love to have other users from outside the area join us!  We'll be testing our live streaming capabilities later in the week and I'll make sure to update this thread with the feasibility once we know more.

    Best,

    Jana

Okay, we did a little testing today and our first thought for live streaming doesn't seem like it is going to work very well.  We are now looking at doing more of a webinar format, but attending the training remotely may not be an option.  We do remain hopeful though and will let you know more when we know more!

Even if we can broadcast it live, we are still hoping to get a recording of the training posted for posterity.

Sadly, we have a webinar option but no microphone so this week's T-Stats Summer Camp session will not be broadcast live, but we will record it later and post it to the DFW TUG website.  Sorry all!  We will order a microphone so that we can broadcast next week's contribution class.

If anybody is interested in a copy of the recording especially if you don't have access to the DFW TUG website, email me at jana.kelly@attpac.org and I'll send it along when it's ready.

    Hey all,

Here is the recording from this week's contribution session of T-Stats Summer Camp.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3pNKHxLKNM&feature=youtu.be&t=18s

Sometimes you can’t exactly hear the questions the participants are asking and I forgot to restate them for the recording but I think in most cases you can figure out what they were based on the answers.  If you are interested in the PPt mentioned at the beginning of this recording that introduces the basic concepts and vocabulary of T-Stats, message me at jana.kelly@attpac.org and I'll send it to you directly.

We should be good to broadcast and record next week's packages session so let me know if you are interested and I'll send you a link to follow along in real time or a link to the recording if you are busy Monday at 4 Central.  I'll also post another reminder here on Monday.

If you'd like to join us in person, message me and I'll send you the RSVP...there are cookies when you come in person!

    Best,

    Jana

  • Just started looking.  Thanks for sharing.  I have shared this will all of the BAM staff using Tessitura.

This week's Summer Camp session is Packages!  Don't miss it!  It starts at 4pm Central time.  If you'd like to join us in person or watch the broadcast, send me an email: jana.kelly@attpac.org.  Please specify if you want to attend or e-attend.  We will also record this session to post later so let me know if you just want a link to watch it on your own time.

    Thanks all!
