Tessitura v12

Out of curiosity, I'd like to ask everyone when you have planned and scheduled to upgrade to Tessitura v12.  Our consortium is scheduled to go Live the night of June 16th and I'm curious to know when everyone else is upgrading. Have you started the planning process and if so, have you set a date for the upgrade?

What are your thoughts on a meeting to talk about v12? I know we would benefit from a discussion about plans, training, testing, roadblocks, and customizations.

For a while now, we’ve more or less capitulated to a rolling verbal date of roughly today+30.  We’ve been forced to this schedule thanks to a handful of problematic v.12 updates and a series of outside issues. We do hope eventually the pace of outside issues and v. 12 updates will slow, and we will be able to close in on a fixed target date. Near end of June is our current target.  We long ago assembled a transition team, assigned testing duties in our local test server, and, in my area development department, we’ve begun detailed mapping of our anticipated implementation of portfolios, plans and steps.

  • At the Kimbell we have identified two windows for implementing Tessitura v12:  after the close of our current exhibition (August 2014) or, more likely, after the end of the upcoming exhibition (January 2015).

A meeting to talk about v12 would indeed be a great benefit.  Please keep us posted.  Thanks.

    Hi Teresa,

We went live on v12 here at PAFW (Bass Performance Hall) back in April.  It certainly had its share of headaches, but everything is working well now.  If you do set that meeting, we can probably get some people here to offer their post-upgrade opinions.

  • That is awesome, thanks Chris.  We are set to go Live in a couple of weeks, so naturally a lot of our time is being spent getting ready.  I'm going to schedule something for July I think.  That way you will have been Live for a few months and we will have been Live a month. I think we can all definitely learn from each other!!!!
