Columbus Tessitura Community Group is Growing!

Good morning! 

My name is Katie Toomey, my pronouns are she/her, and I work for BalletMet Columbus. And I am so happy to announce that I am joining Joanna Hammer of The Wexner Center as co-chair of the Columbus Tessitura Community 

In August I attended TLCC in Orlando and had an amazing time, met tons of great people, and learned so much. It inspired me to get more involved in the online community and connect with other users. When the opportunity came up to join Joanna as co-chair of the Columbus group, I jumped at the chance. I also really enjoyed our Columbus coffee meetup at the Roosevelt a few weeks ago and hope to keep the momentum going. 

My role at BalletMet is Business Analytics Specialist and Tessitura dba. I have been with BalletMet since 2016 and we have been using Tessitura since 2020. My role has been mostly with the finance department and the dance academy, and more recently I have helped other departments develop analytics dashboards and work on projects to expand the way we use Tessitura.

Joanna and I met up this past Friday and discussed how we can continue to build and grow our Columbus Network of Tessitura users, and we will be rolling out these ideas in the next few weeks. We plan to have one more social meetup before the end of 2023, and will send out a survey to see what kinds of meetups and events people would like to see us plan for 2024.
