Automated Tax Receipts in V16

Hi Canadian Group!

KWS is wondering for those of you on V16, or those just in the know, we're in the process of aligning on our V16 upgrade timeline internally and our development team would like to know: when we upgrade, is the tax receipt automation effective immediately or do we have a choice to begin using that feature at a later date?

    Hi Devon,

    The new tax receipt functionality is still, technically, in beta. I believe the first part of it should be ready for general release soon, however. Depending on when you're planning on going live with v16, it could be ready as soon as you go. Please note that there are phases to this that will be rolled out over time. should be able to provide more details.

    Hi Devon!

    Steve is absolutely correct. We have completed the first beta testing phase for the new Charitable Tax Receipt feature. There will be at least one more round of beta testing, maybe two, before we will feel comfortable releasing this for live use. The feature is designed so that you may choose when to begin using it, once we've released it for use in production environments. It will also be possible to turn this feature on in your test environment first so you can familiarize yourself with how it will work before going live.
