Hi folks,
Hope everyone is doing alright and staying healthy! Out here in Manitoba, we are in some form of a lockdown as hospitals are overwhelmed...not good overall, but hopefully things calm down soon!
I wanted to post today to let you know that I have resigned from my job at the Museum and transitioning to be the Executive Director of a non-profit org here in the city that works with youth. I am really excited, but of course, also sad that I am leaving the Museum and the Tessitura Network. So many mixed emotions. I will definitely miss all of you and hope we can stay connected in different ways (add me on LinkedIn!).
With that said though, I do think there is so much value in this community, and therefore, am hoping that someone else (or a couple people), might be interested in stepping up to chair. Might sound scary, but honestly it's not. Setting up events, helping run meetings, getting some discussion going, etc... And, the best part is that Tessitura staff are always there to help with a special shoutout to Meredith Woolard (she/her)who will help make sure everything goes smoothly and you have the support you need.
So if interested, please comment here or reach out to Meredith directly. If you have any questions or want to talk about it, I am available as well for the next couple weeks.
Thanks everyone!
I'd gladly assist as well.
Congrats Derrek!
