Hey, y'all!
The ASO is considering utilizing the Suggested Add-On plugin for TNEW to offer Ticket Insurance to our single ticket buyers, but we know that it could be used for so much, like prepaid parking or intermission drinks and snacks. Do any of y'all use it and what do y'all use it for? Or do you know other organizations outside of Austin that use it?

I like this plug-in! Do you currently offer Ticket Insurance? What does it include and how much is it? We used to offer it and may offer it again.

Oh good! I think it would be great for the ASO to use but it's an additional cost to get setup.
We don't currently offer Ticket Insurance, but with the pandemic and uncertainty of it, we feel strongly about offering more flexibility and options for our single ticket buyers. We're thinking of offering it as an add-on at about $12-$15. With it, single ticket buyers would be able to exchange tickets, request the money be moved to a gift certificate, or request a refund. The move to a gift certificate or refund would obviously not include the cost of the ticket insurance, but everything else.
We're definitely still in the consideration and planning stage. I've been playing around with making Ticket Insurance an auxiliary item instead of using the plug-in but have not yet gotten that to work in our Test.
