V15 Memberships - your feedback please!

Hey there,

The Member Advisory Committee have recently been exploring potential changes to the functionality of Memberships in V15 - right from how they are built and processed through to how they are reported and analysed. 

Ths video below provides details of where this functionality could head in the future and we need your feedback. Do these changes support your current and potential future business needs? Would this provide you with more flexability or more options in how you can understand your membership constituents?

As well as general feedback, some specific things we would like to know are:

  • Do you currently have any membership discount promotions for discounting an upgrade to the current membership?
  • Do you have a need for some kind of "respect minimum price" setting on membership discounts?
  • What would you call the 3 Expired periods presented in the Membershp Periods section? Do Grace, Lapse, and Reaquire work?
  • What are the scenarios (excluding renewals and gift memberships) when you wouldn't want a new membership record to start immedeately?
  • In Expire at End of Month scenarios, are you concerned about the possible 13th month?
  • In Fixed Date scenarios, would fixed end date make more sense? Should it be assumed annually?
