just wondering if anyone has tried using the discount sites like Groupon/Scoopon/Living Social etc for offers and if they've had any success?
We're thinking about it for our venue tours but curious to see if anyone else has tried.

I have in the past and I have to say the experience wasn't great through Scoopon or Groupon. Especially for reserved seating venues whereby a majority of customers turn up close to show time and you're trying to dress the house.
There were also issues around settlement. From memory they (or at least Groupon at that point) only settled with vendors on a monthly basis.
