V12: N-Scan Prefix (Take #2)

Hey there ANZ Tessiturians,

(Whoops! The formatting in the last post may have been a bit tricky to read, so I’ll try again.)

One of the many awesome pieces of functionality coming our way in Tessitura V12.1 and N-Scan V6.0 is the ability to prefix all of our N-Scan barcode numbers with two digits.

The aim of this functionality is to make N-Scan barcode numbers in your license of Tessitura unique from other licensees. This is done per Tessitura license (so the consortium has one prefix for everyone).  Having a unique prefix opens up our world to things like being able to import unique ticket barcodes and therefore enable N-Scan to work with all tickets (no matter where they have come from).

We were hoping to do some work now to ensure that licensees in the Asia-Pacific Region don’t have the same two digit prefix, as this will compromise on the ability for this functionality to be used to its full potential. Could you please ask your System Administrator to make the update in your Tessitura system as per the details below once you are live in V12.1 or higher?

The following outlines suggested two digit prefixes for each licensee.
