Hi all,

Do any of our Aus/NZ friends accept UnionPay through a DPS equivalent? If so... how do you do it?

    Hi David,

     

    This came up just last week for us!  We don’t accept it right now as ANZ Banking Group hasn’t implemented it. Not sure if Payment Express is ok with it either.

    Hey Beau,

    I think it may have come up because of us! ;-)

    ANZ don't accept it but NAB do - and Payment Express haven't got to implementing it (yet).

    Hi Beau,

    Apparently NAB, CBA, HSBC and Citibank all accept Union Pay.   There was an article in The Age sometime ago saying ANZ would come on board from Jan 2013 but that hasn't happened yet.  I'm guessing the hold up with the rest of them is that the payment pathway for Union Pay involves the customer being referred from the merchant site to Union Pay to process payment and then back to the merchant's site to complete the transaction.  Which of course isn't common practice here.
