Women in Philanthropy - iWave webinar Thursday, April 21st, 2022 @ 1pm ET

Hi Fabulous Women -

Do you know other fabulous women who deal with the philanthropy side of things? Is your organization recognizing the women donors as a power in their own right? (Personal pet peeve - getting acknowledge letters addressed to me and my partner, with my spouse's name first because he is male when I was the person who donated). One of our partners, iWave, is presenting 'Women in Philanthropy' which sounded like something this group would enjoy viewing or passing along to other women of your acquaintance who might be interested.

Women helping women,

- Heather

On Thursday, April 21st, at 1pm ET, with Lindsay McCreary, Director of Philanthropy Operations at La Jolla Country Day School.

About the webinar:

The role of women in philanthropy is gaining the focus and attention it deserves, but do our fundraising practices fully recognize and represent women and their giving?  Women are likely to give more both financially and in volunteer hours, and are the predominant decision makers in household philanthropic decisions, yet processes and systems often minimize their role.

In this webinar, join Lindsay McCreary, Director of Philanthropy Operations at La Jolla Country Day School, in analyzing recent trends, the shifting demographics in women’s giving and discussing ways in which nonprofit organizations can maximize their work towards inclusive practices. This session will be hosted by T. Clay Buck.
