Advice/Data Help for creation of new job

Hi everyone,
I am starting to work on pitching a new job to my boss called Community Engagement/DEIA Coordinator. During my year end review, I talked to my boss about how dissatisfied I was in my current position as well as wanting to affect change in our organization. We are far from doing much to impact our community outside of our education programs. I was wondering if anyone can provide advice and guidance in this process.
Also, my organization has a $1.5 million dollar budget (probably going to be $2 mil in a few years) and it would be helpful to have some data of what organizations of similar sizes are doing and their impact. If any of you can provide that or point me to that contact person that would be great.

    I am glad you pitch this as a job position for your organization. There is still an opportunity to do great work with a small budget by partnering with other organizations in your community. Consider how a Jazz Arts Group can add to existing social justice work in your city. The work needs to go further than just getting diverse audiences to shows.
