I am a member of the Tessitura DEAI Committee and the Community Subcommittee, and I am very excited to share that we are now accepting applications for our Community DEAI Advisory Committee.
As you may have already heard, Tessitura is forming a Community DEAI Advisory Committee focused on diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion. The Community DEAI Advisory Committee will provide a point of substantive communication for feedback, questions, concerns and collaborative opportunities between Tessitura and our community.

For 2021, we plan to seat 8–10 advisory committee members. Committee members will serve an annual term, beginning in January. Committee members will be required to prepare for and attend 6 meetings throughout the year, and may be consulted by Tessitura’s DEAI Committee, as needed. Compensation for time and emotional labor will be US$500.
We are seeking a broad range of representation and lived experience to join us in this important work. We encourage you to apply, or to forward this information to a colleague you feel would be interested in helping further Tessitura’s DEAI work. I personally, and the subcommittee, would love to see applications from the POC community.
Applications are open now through December 4th, and applicants will be advised on the application status by December 18th.
