Scholarships for TLCC Washington, DC

Tessitura is offering 10 scholarships to TLCC in Washington, D.C., including seven Diversity Scholarships and three Emerging Leaders Scholarships.

Scholars will be awarded complimentary conference registration. This includes: 

  • All sessions
  • All networking events
  • All conference meals and refreshment breaks (except Tuesday evening, which is a build-your-own networking night)
  • Access to conference materials and presentations

Scholars will be responsible for their own travel expenses and lodging.

To be eligible for the TLCC Diversity Scholarship, you must:

  • Be a full-time employee at a Tessitura member organization
  • Be a member of one or more underrepresented groups in the nonprofit arts & culture sector*
  • Be able to attend the full conference (August 11–14, 2024)
  • Not be a previous recipient of an in-person TLCC scholarship   

*Underrepresented groups may include, but are not limited to: Black, Indigenous, Latinx, or a person of color; LGBTQIA+, trans, nonbinary, or gender-nonconforming; having a disability; neurodivergent; religious minority; and other historically excluded identities.

To be eligible for the Lasting Legacy Scholarship for Emerging Leaders, you must:

  • Have 5+ years of experience in the arts & culture industry
  • Currently serve in a supervisor or managerial role
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and potential for leadership success
  • Be a first-time in-person TLCC attendee (including any TLCC Europe or TLCC Asia Pacific conference)
  • Be a full-time employee at a Tessitura member organization
  • Be able to attend the full conference (August 11–14, 2024)


All applications and letters of recommendation must be received by April 17, 2024. The Scholarship Committee will notify all candidates about its decision by May 10, 2024.
