Holiday Selfcare Tips

As fun as the holiday season can be, even for the most festive it has it's limits.  Whether it's trying to sustain an endless level of Holiday Merriment, the pressure of entertaining, or mountain of things you have to do on top of the usual overload - If you are like us at ND&MW Central then you might be running a little low on the Festive Cheer right about now.

Here's a little reminder from Dominee over at SelfLoveRainbow to allow yourself some space, call in for support when you need it, and that "it's ok not to be ok".

There are plenty of other good tips over there like your Circle of Control, self-talk scrips for when you are overwhelmed, and a Holiday Recovery Plan

Make space for messy feelings like grief. Create your own holiday traditions. Set realistic expectations for yourself and the holiday. Keep your self- care routine or begin a new one. Learn to say no without feeling guilty. Keep your stress levels in check. It's okay to step back or delegate. Make a plan and try to stick to it. Organization is key Give yourself permission to let it be a normal day.
