Hello everyone!!

I work in a Consortium and we are adding in our first museum member! We are very excited to have them on board! They have much larger retail needs than our performing arts orgs, and we were exploring the SalesVu integration. Does anyone here have experience with them for your retail/gift shops? Would love to hear experiences of all kinds!!

Marketing ads question

Hello! I have a question regarding marketing ads and how many versions is the right number? Long story short, we are working with a new marketing agency this year. As we get ready to launch our spring/summer acquisition ads for our membership program, we have 4-5 different marketing ads that we will rotate over the next 19 weeks. Each ad concentrates on a different component of our membership program; such as, value, benefits, members-only events, etc... With our previous agency, we had 7 different versions allowing alot of flexibility with ads.

I am concerned that with a lower number of versions, the public could "tune out" our ads. What does your organization do? Do you rotate different versions of your ads throughout the year? How many versions do you have? Any pros and cons? Thank you.

3rd Party Sellers - Concierge?

Hi Experts!

We are based in Las Vegas and want to partner with the concierge services at our hotels, and other third party places such a bus tour places where they can sell tickets to our museum. We need to be able to track who sells what so that they can get a commission on these sales. Does anyone do something like this and if so, how?

Hi Samantha,

We just started doing something very similar with our local hotels. We run a Consignment program where we sell the tickets to each hotel at a discounted rate. We then mail them x number of physical passes. Then the hotels add it into their bookings at our full price and they keep the difference. Those physical passes get handed to the hotel guest at check-in and they hand them back to our Front Desk staff.

In Tessitura we have a specific ticket type to know how many were redeemed. I am not sure how the woman who handles this program sells them into Tessitura (to send to the hotels), but I can send along her email if you'd like so she can explain further.

We've been planning to move for a while, but keep changing our dates internally...hoping to make the move in early Summer (our slower period in these hot Texas Summers).

QUESTION for the GA folks on this thread - did anyone migrate Credit Card Tokens from WorldPay? If so, and are willing to chat, would you mind letting me know - mark.boyer@dallaszoo.com

We have a rogue membership autorenewal process (we use Memberships as Products) and we do not want to lose those CC numbers. We understand they can be migrated, but curious if anyone has done it.

Hello! We have multiple entrance points and currently have a ticketing desk at each one. However, people used to be able to walk into one of our courtyards directly from the street before entering any buildings. We had signage at the doors to let people know that they needed to get a ticket before proceeding to the exhibitions. There was then a staff member at tne entrance to the exhibitions who would check for a ticket or sticker and if people didn't have one, they were directed back to the welcome center.

Managing multiple access points

Hello!

Our facility comprises 4 different buildings with exhibits, all surrounding a central courtyard. This courtyard has been behind a gate with ticket sales happening at the gate. We are considering removing those gates and having the courtyard open to the public, while taking ticket sales inside one or more of the buildings. I was wondering if any of you would have recommendations on how you have managed having multiple access points to your facilities? Are there any technologies you are using that connect with Tessitura and make for a better guest experience? It would not be cost effective for us to have each entrance to each of our buildings manned by a staff person controlling access.

Any suggestions are appreciated!
