Long story short, we are working with a new marketing agency this year. As we get ready to launch our spring/summer acquisition ads for our membership program, we have 4-5 different marketing ads that we will rotate over the next 19 weeks. Each ad concentrates on a different component of our membership program; such as, value, benefits, members-only events, etc... With our previous agency, we had 7 different versions allowing alot of flexibility with ads.

I am concerned that with a lower number of versions, the public could "tune out" our ads. What does your organization do? Do you rotate different versions of your ads throughout the year? How many versions do you have? Any pros and cons? Thank you.

SalesVu integration??

Hello everyone!!

Our facility comprises 4 different buildings with exhibits, all surrounding a central courtyard. This courtyard has been behind a gate with ticket sales happening at the gate. We are considering removing those gates and having the courtyard open to the public, while taking ticket sales inside one or more of the buildings. I was wondering if any of you would have recommendations on how you have managed having multiple access points to your facilities? Are there any technologies you are using that connect with Tessitura and make for a better guest experience? It would not be cost effective for us to have each entrance to each of our buildings manned by a staff person controlling access.

I have a question on how you use this plug-in. We are currently using flex packages for experiences at our museum. For example, you must purchase general admission, then we have additional offerings of a tour or another experience. Right now we are using flex packages, where it requires the admission, but the other items are option. If you go with the package that does all three options, there is a discount. We are looking at using the plug-in to get away from flex packages.

Does your org use the add-on in this way? Where you have a required admission and then other offerings? Does it make the purchase process easier for your guests?

I am a new Tessitura user working in our Group Sales and Reservations Department. We went live with v16.0 this past September. We do a robust Motorcoach business in the fall, and currently have a pay on arrival policy for most groups. Just wondering if any of you can share a best practice policy for our gate staff when a group is a no- show. I would like to keep a record of the order and mark it as a no-show, but do not want it to show up on unpaid booking reports.

In this case of an unpaid order, do your gate staff simply delete the tickets from the sub line items?

I am looking to gather some ideas for something we are currently doing. We have STEAM programming, with this programming we have partnered with our local libraries and have provided them an option for library members to check out tickets to our STEAM Saturday programming. This checkout is a DVD case that has all the information for their visit. They come to the museum, and we create an order with a source code that allows for 2 adults and 2 children free to our STEAM program.

What I am trying to do is find a better way to get these families into the program faster, preferably a way to scan the DVD case, but also still track attendance. Right now, they must stand in line so that we can create an order, track which library they are from (each one has a different source code) and then process the tickets. We have a great deal of these, so sometimes the line backs up and the families are waiting.

My thought was to create a membership organization, where each DVD case is a constituent/member so that we can scan it. Do you have membership cards that are scannable? Does this work well for you? Are you able to track attendance?

Or Does anyone have a program like this? How do you manage this? Do you maybe have any ideas for better management or any ideas/thoughts on my membership idea?

Recently our new and growing team of Customer Service Specialists have begun tracking the amount of calls and emails we handle on a daily basis. Currently, this is something we do outside of Tessitura, via Microsoft Excel, with a series of workbooks where we log completed calls and emails by time of day and by topic, which are summarized with monthly reports by manually linking data across the workbooks. Does anyone else do this type of tracking, or something similar within Tessitura when guests or members contact you? The goal is not so much to measure performance benchmarks, rather to legitimize the great deal of work our new department is doing. Currently, our team of 5 CS Specialists is logging roughly 1,000 calls per month, on average. If you have suggestions for how to help us track the calls and emails relative to constituents within the database, we would greatly appreciate any help!

I work for a museum and we are trying to use flex packages as a build your own day for guests. Do any of you use flex packages in this way? I would like to pick your brain, if you do.

What I am trying to do is allow guests to basically add on two programs to their general admission. General admission is required. So I figured the best way to do this was via a flex package since it has so may features I need (requirement option for one performance and the ability to discount when a certain amount of performances are added). However, since I am doing this for daily admission, does this mean I have to do a Performance group and flex package for each day? I just want to make sure I am not making this harder on myself.

Also, I can have performances under different production seasons in the hierarchy as long as I put the Production Season to the same flex package season?

Any guidance or advice would be most helpful! Thank you!
