Hello all,

We're in discussions right now about digital membership cards. Our membership cards are barcoded and we use NSCAN for member check in. We currently have paper printed cards. I know this is an option in TNMP. Who is using it currently, and what successes and challenges have you experienced?

I'm curious about the roadmap for TNMP as organizations move to the mobile-responsive TNEW v7. We have primarily used TNMP for ticket sales. Now trying to understand other ways we might use TNMP after that need is filled by v7.

TNMP Updates - Sept 25, 2017

The following minor updates have been made to the TNMP application.

In order to make the application a bit more universal across genres, venues and product offerings, we have made the following changes to content that is hardcoded in the app:

Removal of reference to "seats" in availability messaging such as "X Seats Available" in the transaction path and in the cart.
On the event detail page, change "Call Box Office" to "Call"

Bar code number displays on ticket

Hi, we are testing My Tickets. I have a TASK in already, but I am wondering if anyone else is using QR Codes with My Tickets. We are trying to suppress the actual bar code element number from displaying on the ticket. Using the N-Scan Number as the Data Element, the documentation says to uncheck both the "Print as Barcode" and Print Barcode as Text" which we have, yet the number still displays on a printed ticket. Any ideas?

Hello!

We are in the process of setting up and testing the My Tickets feature on TNMP and I have run into a couple of issues and wanted to see if we set up something wrong, or if the app does not support the following scenarios:

If I sell the same performance using two line-items or two orders, it will not render a barcode. Instead it gives me the error: Unable to load “OK”. This happens regardless of whether I use the same price type or different price types.
If I return two seats, and pull two seats in a different line-item at the same price type, it renders a barcode. However, if I return two seats and sell three seats in a different line-item at the same price type, it gives me the same error.
We have an event that we do not want displayed in My Tickets. Is there a way to mask events without removing them from the History?

We have just recently started using TNMP and our first show to use the At-The-Venue feature is July 9th. I've set it all up but how do I notify the people to utilize the feature when they come to the show. The TNMP training was months ago so I honestly can't remember.

Can anyone confirm if the collapsible "hamburger" menu option is available when using the cards home screen? I'm wondering if I need to be prepared to make cards for all of the custom tabs we use, or if I can rely on the hamburger menu for some of our less-prominent content..

pdfs in TN Mobile Plus - question

I am test-driving TN Mobile Plus and one of the things we would like to do is provide our program and our magazine (as pdfs) in the app. I have tried two ways, linking to a pdf directly or linking to a reader like Issuu. In both instances the document (or reader) completely takes over the mobile device with no "back" navigation. This is in the emulator and I don't know if it behaves differently when it is the actual app. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a way to make the app give that back navigation?

Seat coloring on SYOS for TNMP

I was wondering if anyone knew if the seat coloring on TNMP is able to be controlled on the user level or if that is something we would need help with from the web products team from TN to have adjusted. We noticed the colors of the seats in TNMP do not match our website and were hoping to make that happen. I couldn't find anything in documentation about this.

Geofences

I have been testing the Geofences feature the past few days and I see some total messages sent in the InstantEncore TNMP page, but I personally have not received any. I have notifications enabled, re-installed the Android app for Samsung Galaxy S5, etc. Has anyone else reported any issues, plus, does it only support certain smartphones?

Targeted Push Notifications in TNMP

I'm looking at Targeted Push Notifications in the TNMP dashboard and although I have checked the TMS and dynamic boxes in List Manager I get nothing in my drop down list menu in the TNMP dashboard.

Can anyone help and has anyone had success with targeted push notifications?

Name Change Ability

Hi All,

I found in documentation how to limit a patrons ability to change a name on an account. On LTR_TNEW_FORM_CONTROLS, I have adjusted the AccountPageNamesAccess value to show. However, our mobile app is not listening to this change. I am still able to change the name on my personal account. This is more than 30 minutes after the update to the system table.

Am I missing a step? Help documentation does not say I need to do anything else other than change that value. Any guidance would be awesome.

We at the Royal Exchange Theatre are looking to get TN Mobile Plus and I was wondering if people could share their thoughts?

In terms of the actual project, is there anything that I should definitely be thinking about in advance?

In terms of sales, has anyone experienced a rise in online bookings because of TNMP?

TNMP promo code

I want to create an embedded promo code link for an event for our mobile users, I can do this in TNEW by adding the &promo= to the PSDetail link but I can't find the right link to get it to work in TNMP it just loops back to the home page. Can this be done for TNMP? if so which page link do I use and do you still use &promo=?

Google Analytics and TNMP

Has anyone been able to implement TNMP with Google Analytics? We've had difficulty as it has led to double counting some mobile traffic, and losing all medium/source information from mobile. We currently are seeing our main site as a referral for almost all of our traffic on mobile.

Hello all!

Does anyone have any formatting tips when it comes to putting headshots on actor profiles in InstantEncore? I'm doing ok right now but it's really just resizing, cropping, trial and error process. Is there a recommended pixel size for these images? I keep running into part of the headshot getting cut off. Thanks!

Password Resets

Hello,

We are experiencing an issue with password reset through TNMP. When you enter the email address associated with your TNMP login, the token email is received, as expected. However, when you touch the token link, the redirect takes you to 5thavenue.instantencore.com but it's just a blank white screen. It appears this only happens on iPhone. I could not find any documentation in help regarding password reset via TNMP so any help you can provide on how we would fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Package sales and TNMP

I was wondering if TNMP currently supports ticket package sales. I was trying to find out through documentation in the TNMP user guide but I couldn't see anything that discussed this. If not, could a custom redirect allow for the sales of packages by connecting to our website?

TNMP is catching on---which is great but I have a problem I can't solve and with growing sales the problem is growing. I am hoping there is a very simple fix, that someone uses and I am overlooking!

We set up TNMP to use the same MOS as all of our on line orders; Web. And Marketing insists we offer Mail, PAH and HABO as delivery methods. But we are getting stuck with printing tickets. After the customer buys their ticket(s) if the ticket(s) are viewed in the My Account folder the tickets are flagged as printed. When the customer wants these tickets mailed , or held at will call , there is no way for us to discern between tickets that were already printed in the office or tickets flagged as printed because they were viewed. Resulting in complaints, when tickets don't arrive in the mail and extra time at the will call desk to re-print tickets.

I tried a report, no help unless the printing batches are small. I tried running a list in batch printing, but do you reprint or not? ---how are other folks dealing with this? Do you not offer Mail or HABO? or...

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

My Ticket Feature

Hello everyone,

I've been reading up on the "My Ticket Feature" functionality and would really like to use it. I'm probably way over-thinking this but, is it really as simple as using an existing ticket design element number in Tessitura and then the bar code element ID? My brain wants to say it's not that easy but it would be awesome if it really was. Is anyone using the My Ticket Feature yet? How are your scanners reading the bar code in the app? We have found that the PDF of PAH tickets is not easy for our N-SCAN readers to see on a patron's phone.
