I might be interested to hear more about how you're using the data and to see if maybe this could be something worth integrating in the perf-based scheduled trigger process at some point. I think there would be interest in that for many.

We had the same reaction, David. We're getting many calls about an important email that was sent Friday with tickets to our gala. It would be helpful for our patrons to understand this is not us simply not knowing how to create emails.

Hi! Wordfly has been down all weekend. I found the explanation buried on a Twitter page, but there hasn't been a new post. Does anyone have an update? As it is, I'm looking at doing a full week's worth of work on Wednesday.

We have determined that WordFly has been impacted by a cybersecurity incident affecting operations and our ability to provide our services. This incident also affected our backup servers. We are currently engaging with internal and external cybersecurity professionals to resolve the situation and get our systems and servers back up.

At this time, we have no evidence that any customer data in WordFly has been compromised or misused.

Resolution of the incident will take time, and WordFly is likely to remain unavailable for several business days.

Well... it feels like silence, because Wordfly has been mostly silent. Certainly not "up-to-the-minute" updates as the Twitter feed promises. It's discouraging.

Thanks, Heather - to be clear, we are very aware this is WordFly failing to communicate, not Tessitura. Thanks as always for your attention, and we'll hope they'll provide some more information as to what the heck is going on at some point soon. If there is an opportunity for Tessitura to nudge them a little, I hope you will note that failing to communicate regularly, openly, and honestly during a major crisis can erode confidence in a provider much more quickly than the outage itself.

In the meantime, we are left wondering how many people who got our major e-mail blast on Friday are trying to click the links and thinking our website is just down. The fact that they haven't at least redirected e.wordfly.com via DNS to a page taking responsibility for the outage and suggesting that users directly visit the website of the sending org seems to reflect either a lack of understanding of the reputational impact for their customers or a worrying loss of control over their own DNS records.

Hello!

We're in contact with WordFly at Tessitura, and have updated our own status page for the Integration down. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of information for us to share at this point. WordFly knows that their service is mission critical and you can be assured they have prioritized the work above all else and are triaging as fast as they can. We are updating our own status page hourly - but at this point it is more just an acknowledgment that their service is down.

I'm sorry we can't provide more information at this time, I know it is frustrating to see what feels like silence. Please be assured it is only because we don't have more to provide to you yet.

We saw this update as well, but it's not much of an update in terms of saying what's actually going on - and "minimum of 48 hours" is a REALLY long time when it comes to mission critical services. I would expect at least an explanation/ progress update every few hours. Wondering if there's a chance someone at Tessitura with a contact there might be able to get more information out of them re: what they heck is going on.
