Good afternoon friends,
I'm not sure how many of you might already be using Slack for your communication needs, but our Consortium Leadership TUG group has been selected to beta test the use of Slack channels for Tessitura User Groups.
We are thankful to Meredith Woolard (she/her) for selecting us as a beta test case, and I wanted to share a bit more information about the stated intention behind deploying Slack for this TUG:
The intention is that Slack is used for quick q&a, hashing out user group meeting planning, etc. The online forums will be available for formal announcements, invitations to user group events, and any communications that need a larger reach.
If you are interested in joining the Consortium Leadership User Group channel on Slack, please comment here with your preferred email address and I will get an invitation sent your way.
Thank you!
Brian

please send me an invite- leichers@slco.org -Thank you
Hi Brian,
Is this going to be a new slack instance, or a channel on a current slack instance? I already have separate accounts for: TN-Webshare and the conference planning instance, as well as our internal Cal Performances channel...
Hi Gawain!
Great question; this is a new Slack instance specifically for Tessitura User Groups, where the Consortium Leadership TUG has a channel.
I have a similar Slack channel setup on my end.
Thank you,
