I did find a formula to do the Campaign FY to Date Calculations when there are gifts prior to the Fiscal Year of the Campaign.

( [Total Amount] , [Fiscal Year to Date Flag1])
+ ( [Total Amount] , [Days Since Campaign Start] )

[Fiscal Year to Date Flag1] = { "contains": "Y" }

[Days Since Campaign Start] = { Less that 0 }
