Printing Mobile Tickets Emails

I'm not finding this in the docs or forums, save an Idea: when you try to print a mobile tickets email, the QR codes don't come through. Maybe this is "clever" and on purpose, but I note that I can print the mobile Tickets from my TNEW account pages just fine. Does anyone know if this is non-negotiable design, if there's a workaround, whether I ought to enter a support ticket, etc.?

Tess Sign On Not Showing

We are not self-hosted- we use RAMP to load the Citrix platform. I'm having this issue where I can get past the RAMP log in- and Citrix looks like it loads, but the sign in window never pops up. I can see the Tessitura logo in the taskbar- but the window is nowhere to be found.

staff tickets online

I am investigating how we can have our staff book their comps and staff rate tickets through tnew. In testing, I’ve created a “staff tickets” mos, and was going to use an offer to open that mos and limit the number of staff rate tickets (understanding that it’s per order and trusting the honor system). Then I was going to use a pricing rule based on staff constituency and an exclusion list for the comps- because I can have that exclusion list generate every so often and more tightly control the comp limit per customer.

BUT, here’s the stumbling block I have. Full time staff get 4 comps and 4 staff rate tickets, and part time staff get 2 comps and 2 staff rate. Am I correct in thinking that I would need to have two MOS - one for the full time staff, and one for the part time staff? Because if I have two similar offers on one mos (“get 4 staff rate tickets; get 2 staff rate tickets”), it’s going to apply the top one.

Or, if anyone has any better ideas, I’m all ears!

Thrust Stage in a standard TNEW SYOS

I am searching for organizations that have a thrust stage and use out of the box SYOS on TNEW.

I am curious to learn if the side sections are facing in towards the screen or facing forward like the main seating bank. Do ticket buyers understand that if they wish to sit in the side sections they should select the seats that are above/below each other and not side by side/left to right in the main seating bank?

Poll: How heavily do you use LTR_TNEW_CUSTOM_FORM_DATA?

So, I'm gearing up to use a lot more Contribution Types (LTR_TNEW_CONTRIB_TYPE) in our consortium, and as I've been testing this out in Test and Dev it seems to be having dire performance consequences. While it is a lot of Contribution Types (I guess), it doesn't feel like it would be a lot for a larger consortium. LTR_TNEW_CUSTOM_FORM_DATA is the table that really explodes when you add additional Contribution Types, and presumably the main one referenced by "Reset Custom Forms". What I observe is that the Reset Custom Forms and Reset Cache buttons became slow, then frequently timed out. I'm seeing worse behavior in our Dev environment, which has fewer forms than Test, but is also probably resourced less and also is in v16, while we are still in v15 for Live and Test.

Fixed Package not displaying the event details section?

I tried matching the E Commerce Section for a recent update. In Dev it is showing the individual performances, along with the more info button for the selections I want. However, in the live version those areas removed. I could find the general information on TN Express Web v7 for Tessitura v15 - Page: Fixed Package Detail/packages/fixed/[PkgID] (tessituranetwork.com) but I haven't had any success revealing that information. Could I get a pointer on what I need to change?

Flex Package in TNEW not displaying quantity selection

I've created a small flex package for two of our upcoming shows playing in repertory. It works fine through the client- but on the TNEW "Flex Package Detail Page" it shows the text "How many seats do you want for each performance?" but there's no place to select a number of seats. And you can't move past this page.

I can send screen caps if that's helpful. I'm not sure what could be wrong. I have the price types in the web mode of sale.

Any ideas? Thank you much!

TNEW Package MOS

So forgive me if I am wrong on this, but when you designate a Sub Mos in the LTR_TN_EXPRESS_WEB_DEFAULTS table, is TNEW not supposed to automatically shift users into this MOS when they are sent to TNEW using the /packages or /packages/renewals URLs? We are working on setting up our renewal campaign and need to test somethings but I can't get any published packages to display on the /packages URL. The /packages/renewals does the MOS shift and displays the applicable renewal orders. I don't remember us needing to use any sort of promo code triggered MOS shift other than for specific pre-sales but once those ended I think people were always sent to the generic link. I added the keyword, the MOS is currently active, its just not moving people into that MOS.

So I'm either misremembering how the package link is supposed to work, or there is some other detail I've forgotten?

Accessibility attestations in v16

We will be upgrading in the near future and are wondering if there are any out-of-the-box features that work well, or if this is a customization we would want to pursue with our web developers. Any information on how others are collecting accessibility information via TNEW is appreciated!

Language Translation of TNEW Pages

Hello Tessitura community,

I am working on multilingual accessibility for our organization's websites and have found a solution we are pursuing for our Wordpress and Shopify sites called Weglot. This service doesn't expressly list Tessitura as an integration, but claims that it can be applied to any service through a Javascript code. Does anyone have experience with this software?

Alternatively, does anyone have a good translation service that they've successfully used on their TNEW sites other than Weglot? I've looked at the list of Tessitura ecosystem partners but don't think they are exactly what we're needing.

Facebook Login integration

We're looking at using the Facebook login integration and wanted to solicit some advice from organizations that have implemented or evaluated it.

Do you use the Facebook login functionality?

What were the disadvantages, problems, or unforeseen side effects?

Was it seen as a positive by your customers?

Questions from one of the posts below that seem pretty interesting as well.

What information do you get from Facebook (demographic, interests) and where do you store it in Tess?
Anyone who uses Facebook events to track who is coming or interested, and is that connected to the actual purchase of tickets? (for instance, once you check out, are able to share with friends that you are attending the concert this weekend?)

Here is my question in regards to reports within the mobile platform: Will any of the future upgrades for the mobile TNEW include a Performance Sales Summary by PT Category? This is something that is lacking on the mobile version that I wish would be implemented since gross revenue is something that I'm constantly looking at and also being asked about.

New price type works in Tessitura Client, but not in TNEW

I just created a new price type that would specifically be used for discount offers where they want to waive the fees. We've been doing them more often, so I figured having a dedicated price type would be useful. We do promotions using pricing rules exclusively, so all our discount price types are accessible to the Web MOS but not the Web user group, so they are hidden to the customer but can be swapped out by a pricing rule at the cart. I setup this new price type exactly like that, added it to the performance, enabled in all price zones, built our pricing rule and added it to the pricing rule sets. I tested it out in our Web MOS through the Tessitura client and the pricing rule worked just fine. But when I attempted to reserve the tickets online with the promo code, I was directed to our error page and the cart was empty. I even added the web user group to the price type security, and when accessing the show even without the promo code, the SYOS for the performance was disabled and it still resulted in an error page. So there is something off with the way the price type was setup and I have tried to think of what I must have missed in price type setup, but nothing comes to mind.

Promo Code Unlocking Multiple Price Types

My museum offers discounted admission to Chicago residents, which they can unlock online by entering the promo code CHI followed by their 5-digit zip code (for example, CHI60611). All those promo codes are tied to a single source in the WEB_SOURCE_NO table. If you enter any of the Chicago promo codes on the Event/Item Detail page for each museum admission performance, they work as expected - all the Chicago prices (Adult, Student, Senior, Teacher, Youth) unlock and the visitor can select whatever combination they need.

However, a customer just alerted us that if you enter any of the Chicago promo codes on the cart page, all admission tickets in your cart change to the Chicago Youth price. I can't replicate this in Web MOS in the Client, so I'm guessing it's something specific to TNEW. I have checked the ranking of offers and the offer for the Chicago Adult price is listed above Chicago Youth. Any thoughts?

Only one CSI saved after configuring gift memberships

I'm having an issue with CSIs on a gift membership program we just started. After setup and testing in the Test environment, everything was working as expected. This is set up to collect information on the gift membership pages through required fields, put that into a CSI and move the money to On Account so that can be used to apply the membership to the recipient account.

All changes were made to the live environment and we started promoting gift memberships. However, once we checked the On Account report and CSI report, there was a pretty obvious issue. There's quite a few entries on the On Account that match the amount for the gift memberships and were made within the last week, but no CSIs generated except one. There was a point where I realized that something was not set correctly in LTR_TNEW_CUSTOM_FORM_SAVE_DATA and we were aware that some of these would need follow up from this, but some of the transactions for people showing on the On Account report were also done after the one transaction that created the CSI, but are still not creating a CSI. This is what has me confused.

Would love at point in the right direction on where the issue could be!

Reserved and GA Seats on one Map

I've seen a few posts on this, but I'd appreciate any tips on this. We have a show that is going to use our normal seating map, but the pit is going to be standing room GA. When I build the show, I can't get the SYOS map to load on TNEW and the only option for purchase is to choose best available seating. Thanks in advance!

TNEW feature request: ability to hide the zone selector for events

Hi, I thought I'd post this here rather than open a ticket, in case others wanted to chime in on whether it's something you would want as much as we do. Or possibly because someone here will know some option I'm missing that will allow me to do these things without hacks.

We book a handful of one-off general admission community events in our theater that is normally a reserved seat venue. In order to clean up the Event/Item Detail page in TNEW for these events, as the in-house web developer I am currently using a CSS hack to hide the zone selector section, since there's only one zone and no need to confuse people with this. It would be really cool for hiding this section to be an option in TNEW Admin.

It's true that we can hide the Best Available zone option, but I don't understand why Best Available would appear for an exclusively GA event anyway. But really, sometimes we just want to hide that whole section.

And along with this, I end up hiding the contiguous seats checkbox also, because again, this is irrelevant for a GA event.

I guess this is really two feature requests:

Have TNEW hide those two irrelevant input fields when an event's only zone is GA
The ability to selectively hide the entire zone selector section at the product type and performance level.

Delivery method - button options

I highly dislike the current method of choosing delivery method...it is very difficult for patrons to know they can change the option. Is there a way to make it a drop down or radio buttons instead of a link to a new window?

TNEW Pop Ups

We are exploring options for having pop ups on TNEW relating to event specific information. Ideally we would want the info entered in the sales note box in production elements > performance on the desktop version to also appear online on TNEW when a customer has selected their seats and is directed to the basket. For example, a message relating to age restrictions.

I wanted to see if there are any organisations who have a solution for this, as this functionality is not offered out of the box with TNEW.

Waitlist & returns

Hi all,

We are looking at starting a waitlist, probably using special zones, for our summer camps next year. Once the camp sells out, only the waitlist option will be available for purchase online. If someone returns a camp spot, in theory, the camp spot option will open back up online, but we don't want that. We don't want that because that spot should go to the person who was first on the waitlist rather than the lucky bloke or lass who stumbles upon the website at the "right" time. Without creating a whole new performance for waitlist (we'd really like to keep it in the same performance), any ideas on how to keep the waitlist option open online and keep the camp spot option closed after it's sold out so we can sell that to the people on the waitlist.
