We need to get new scanners. I'd love to hear any recommendations and revelations.

Yep we did, and it was great. We got the TC56 models and then just popped in a SIM card. The only tricky bit was that IT had to set up a VPN at the office, as that was the only IP that is whitelisted for the N-Scan firewall. Once that was set up it was good to go.
The only issue we had was that the VPN connection seemed to be needed to be 'refreshed' every day (disconnect and connect again). Everything else worked fine (and no speed issues - we used it for our 7,500 pax a night event).
