Looking for recommendations you all may have on platforms for texting and push notifications that integrate with Tessitura. We're looking to add this to our lineup of tactics to utilize both for constituents in Tessitura as well as for alternate contact lists that exist outside of the Tessitura database.

We are looking to utilize it for performance reminders to our patrons via text 'know before you go', or notifications for things like 'parking is hairy out there - please leave extra time today as you plan your arrival' or for rain delays for outdoor performances. We are also looking to utilize this for communication with performers (lists that exist outside of Tessitura). In any case, we are aware we'll have to do an indepth work up of what we need for rules + regulations / permissions.

Any suggestions for platforms you love, hate, etc or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry of this isn't the right place to ask this, I have also posted in the TNEW community group. We are just starting the process of implementing TNEW and under some tight deadlines. What do people think of the TNEW quick start templates and using for their branding of the site? And does anyone have any examples of them? I have been sent to sites by Tessitura but they don't fill me with joy. We don't have time to outsource so it's this option or try and do something in house. Happy for any thoughts anyone has!

I want to create a widget that shows me the year on year return rate of our patrons. Does anyone have a great dashboard for showing return rates like this?

Georgia (the state) is on the cusp of passing something called the "Consumer Privacy Protection Act". This is supposed to be modeled on a law already passed in Tennessee. Other versions of this law exist in several states, although in some states non-profits are exempt. Not the case here. Some of it seems to fall under GDPR, but not all of it.

I'm wondering if anyone here has had to make updates to their policies and/or procedures based on these laws. What we're finding is that to be in compliance we should conduct a "Privacy Risk Assessment". We're just trying to get some idea of what that might mean and the level of effort involved. It's hard to find any concrete examples of how to do this, or how it applies to organizations such as ours.

For example, we have Show A running through this month on Thursdays through Sundays with a one night show, Show B running today (2/5). Our Performance Reminder email campaign for Show A was set with the range of the entire month, even though there aren't shows Monday - Wednesday of Show A. So, the ticketholders for show B received a reminder for show A.

I've just joined the company, and it seems like the historic process was to manually deactivate the created appeal in Tessitura for the day of Show B, and manually send out an email Performance Reminder campaign from Wordfly to them using a manually pulled list of ticketholders from Tessitura.

Is there a way to edit our list so that it would prevent Show B ticketholders from receiving Show A performance reminders, especially considering there may be people who have tickets to both? We have days in the summer where we have multiple performances of different shows on the same day, and I'm wondering how we might even begin to handle that using WordFly's campaign automation.

How does your org handle this?

This is the criteria for list pulled for the campaign to send to ticketholders for Show A

I'd love to know if anyone else has encountered this and if so, how you found a way around it.

We host TNEW (v7) on a subdomain of our site. For a long time we've used Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics (now v4) onto our sites; TNEW and our main marketing domain share a property ID. We've built OneTrust to load via GTM as well -- it seemed the logical thing to do, since all our other tags are inside that container and OneTrust can fire the appropriate trigger to match a user's cookie preferences.

With the last TNEW release we started noticing a conflict between our GA property ID loaded via the TNEW admin interface and the (same) property ID loaded via GTM. Using both blew up our purchase & revenue tracking, so we started suppressing the GTM version of GA4 on TNEW pages. Revenue tracking returned and all was well...until we realized that doing so would break the link between OneTrust and GA4. If OneTrust sets consent triggers via GTM and GA4 loads outside of GTM, they can't talk to one another.

We feel stuck between tracking purchases and revenue and respecting our users' privacy choices. Has anyone run into this same issue and solved it?

I've been tackling this question with one of my colleagues.

We've been trying to answer the question, for a particular membership organisation. What are the average daily sales of this membership each month?
We've been able to come up with this:

It’s filtered for years 2018-2024 and the member org in question

The average Sales value on the left is: count([Constituent ID])/6/30.436875

6 is used as it's the number of years the membership org has been on sale for.

30.43 is used as it's the average number of days in a month.

... but I don't like the fact I have to manually change the number of years the scheme has been in place and for 50% of the year isn't accurate, and I don't like using an average number of days a month.

I've had a go using a pivot table

Which does give me a number that I can use as the average sales per day in that month. The only slight caveat is when there are 0 sales in a day, the subtotal average is excluding these and not treating them as a 0, which skews the averages and makes the numbers innacurate.

I've tried wrapping the value for #of unique constituent IDs in a case statement, but it doesn't seem to fix it.

Can anyone share or recommend a digital marketing agency they are working with? In order for the email change to be recognized in P2 it has to be changed in the P2 Custom Tab, not the Contact Details Tab. We have restricted many of our Tessitura users including Front Desk employees from accessing the P2 Custom Tab as you can change people's subscription preferences and mess up their accounts easily from that tab.

I see a majority of our $ conversions on traffic that has a Session default channel group of "Unassigned" and a Session source/medium of "not set" (but if I change to First Session source/medium it is identified as "direct/none"

Both our main website and TNEW site are housed in one GA4 ID, so while I am seeing some small amount of conversions that I can tie to a TNEW page, I am wondering if there is something going on to cause the majority of conversions to come through without the proper tracking. It may not be related to TNEW at all, but it is really suspicious given the monetary tie.

Obviously I am trying to identify the traffic that is resulting in the majority of transactions on TNEW. I have already submitted a support ticket to make sure that the Measurement ID settings are correct in GA4 per these instructions.

And it appears that other tracking of email, paid ads, social, etc. are working. So I am stumped as to where all of the revenue is coming from.

I have read as much as possible online and basically all I can find is that Unassigned and Not Set appear when google is not being sent the UTM parameters is needs.

We have a data sync set up in Prospect 2 to tag contacts as subscribers so they don’t fall into a re-engagement automation we have running that contains an offer, but are noticing that the actual number of constituents in the dynamic list does not match the contacts being tagged in P2. This has led to some subscribers not being tagged and still falling into the automation.

Do you all have any similar list tagging set up and have any insight on why that might be happening? If so, is this Tessitura issue or a P2 one based on your own past experience?
