Hello fellow Event Planners!
We here at BAM are adopting the use of Social Tables as a digital platform for guest check-in and dinner seating. We did an intense trial of the software during June (a board meeting, a film screening, a 250 person dinner, a 200 person party, a 1,000 person party, and a 300 person gala) and were happy with the results and excited about moving forward with the software.
Are you also using digital guest lists to check-in? Are you also using a software program to seat their dinners? Are you sick of riffling through pages of names for check-in and/or seatting-by-post-it? I want to hear from you!
BAM has reserved a few tables during the conference at Lunch on Tuesday and would love to share how we're using Social Tables and hear about how others are using this or similar programs.
Please reply to this thread if you're interested so we can get a sense of how many people to expect.
P.S. One reason we chose Social Tables over a bevy of other options is that it seems to have the most extensive and open programming staff and we are very much interested in developing some Tessitura customizations. The more Tessitura users we can gather together to advocate for these customizations the better!
We currently use ZKipster and would love to hear more, do count me in!
Hey Paloma,
Count me in. I’d be intrigued to see how you use this.

Sign me and my colleagues up (Jackie Ernst and Anna Lehn). We’ve started using Social Tables in the last few months and are about to put it to the ultimate test of our 50th Anniversary Gala and surrounding events next week.

Our special events team doesn’t currently use a digital platform, but I’d love to join the lunch and be part of the conversation. Thanks!

Hello all,
Thanks to everyone who has expressed interest, this is shaping up to be a great group.
A small status update: I am sending Outlook meeting planners to everyone who has RSVPed, please accept these as I will be updating location and agenda information from there. Please also forward to anyone else in your organization who you is interested so we're all on the same page.
Tell your friends, the more merrier (and informative)!
Paloma
I would also like to attend.
