Hi Everyone,
Hope all is well. As you might be aware, this year the Tessitura UK Conference will be held at Birmingham Hippodrome on the 20th and 21st October. We are planning on offering a full two days of sessions, but the key to a successful conference is that the content is spot on and we can only get the right content by working together in the community.
That is why I would like to setup a UK conference planning committee similar to one that is formed for the US conference, who would meet on a regular basis to organise the session content. This structured approach should ensure that we are fully prepared well in advance of the conference dates. This planning committee would consist of sub committees in the following areas:
IT
Marketing
Web
Ticketing
Education
Administration
Customer Services
Finance
Exec Track
Development
If you feel as though you could contribute to one of these areas, please let me know and we can discuss your involvement further. If you feel there are people within your organisation who are not on this forum, please forward it on to them and get them involved!
I look forward to hearing your response and thank you in advance!
Many Thanks,
Scott
HI Scott,
I’m happy to get involved in this. Ticketing would be my specially but happy to help out with Customer Service/Education or other areas as needed.
Cheers

Hi Liz,
Would you be happy to sit on the Education subcommittee? It’s a difficult one to fill but as it was something that you mentioned, it would be really helpful to contribute to.

Yes, happy to help wherever needed. Even though it’s not my direct area it would be good to be involved, plus hopefully I’ll pick up a few good ideas along the way.
Yep, stick me down.

Hi Scott/Claire
We'll make sure that the UK Conference is part of the agenda for the EU TUG call in June, Annie and I are meeting about the agenda tomorrow. It was Sage that were interested in Education developments I think it was mentioned on a previous TUG call.
Anything else, let me know!
Nicola

I'm wondering whether you have this on the agenda for the UK -Tug call for June. Might be a good way to harness a few more helpers! Noticed you were looking for input for eduction too - not sure if you have any further takers but ask Gary there was one organisation from last year who were keen to have more input on education - think it might have been Sage Gateshead? Sorry I haven't replied to this sooner. I was speaking with our Education people about this yesterday and they are just discussing who wants to be involved.
Thanks
