I hope you're all eagerly anticipating our Tessitura Sydney Community Group Meet-Up happening next week!

Date: Tuesday, 19 March 2024
Time: 3:45pm for a 4:00pm start (Cheese and wine* from 3:45pm)
Location: Australian Museum, Sydney
Meeting Point: Proceed past admissions and head to the Lower Ground floor of the Museum (Members Lounge).

You are welcome to use the cloaking facilities before making your way to the Members Lounge, especially if you plan on seeing Ramses & the Gold of the Pharaohs exhibition after (No bags bigger than A4 allowed in the exhibition, no food or drinks, photography is fine, but please no flash).

Here's a quick rundown of what's in store:

Amalia and Jeremy will fill us in on all things Tessitura
Iain and Lou will give a quick update as to how their v16 upgrades went (learnings we can all benefit from)
Breakout sessions for Group Therapy, brainstorming, and troubleshooting

At the end of the session, if you can stick around, we will move up to see the Ramses & the Pharaohs of the Gold exhibition.

Hi Iain,

Thanks for your message and I hope your V16 prep is going well. Apart from planning what needs to be set up and when on the big launch day, I think it’s important to also go over anything being sent to customers (eg forgotten password email) to ensure any links are still functioning in the emails.

Once you go live it would be a good idea to ensure adequate support is available in case customers call up about anything not working or staff questions certain things in the new version.

Thanks for reaching out and congratulations on going live today.

Regarding TodayTix, they’re currently working on an issue with Primary Electronic Address configuration on their end so just waiting for that to be sorted out before we can sell through the integration (of course there’s the manual allocation option). In terms of the set up on our end, nothing much has changed but it’s worth going over the TodayTix settings again in the system to make sure everything has carried over.

In terms of things to look out for in the first few weeks I think it’s a good idea to ensure adequate support is available in case customers call up about anything not working or staff questions certain things in the new version.

For those who didn’t make it, my name is Ollie (Belvoir St Theatre) and I am one of the co-chairs for the Sydney Tessitura Community.

We are excited to continue fostering a supportive and collaborative community of Tessitura users in the Sydney area. Our goal is to share knowledge and best practices, as well as provide opportunities for networking and professional development.
