Continuing our Virtual Open Space Discussions on Anti-Racism and the Arts & Cultural Sector

The world is listening and responding to social injustice across America and the Black Lives Matter movement. Last month we gathered via Virtual Open Space Discussions to discuss how we, as arts and culture professionals, can support the change that needs to happen in our organizations and in the field.

Please join us as we continue these conversations in another round of Virtual Open Space Discussions. Bring your questions and engage in meaningful discussions with your peers around our theme “Anti-Racism and the Arts and Cultural Sector: A Moment for Response and Ideas, Continued.” This event is open to anyone in the community. Feel free to spread the word and invite your colleagues to join us.

This event takes place on Monday, July 20 at 3-5:30pm EDT. Please register in advance.

The Tessitura Community has embraced the Open Space Discussions format at our global and regional conferences (TLCC, TEC and ANZTRUC) and at Regional Tessitura User Group Meetings. These events have presented wonderful opportunities for people to engage in discussions about topics that are important to them - to find others with the same concerns and share solutions.

The Tessitura Network is hosting two Virtual Open Space Discussion events on June 18th and 19th. You are welcome to participate in either (or both!).

The first event is timed to invite participation from the Western part of North America, New Zealand and Australia.

5:00pm PDT (Los Angeles) (Thursday, 18 June)

10:00am AEST (Sydney)(Friday, 19 June)

The second event is timed to invite participation from Europe and the Eastern part of North America.

Tessitura Virtual Networking Opportunity!

Many of us are missing in-person contact with our Tessitura colleagues from our own organizations, our Regional Tessitura User Groups and from Tessitura member organizations around the world. We miss seeing our like-minded friends and meeting new people. We all look forward when we can be in each other's company again. In the meantime...

April 1 TUG Meeting CANCELLED

Hello all,

Due to the current state of affairs with the Covid-19 outbreak, we have decided it would be best for everyone if we cancelled the event on April 1, just to prevent any unnecessary travel for you. We have opted not to offer a conference option since many of us may be working from home by then, and possibility having to deal with our own cancelled events. We will be entertaining the idea of rescheduling the event for later, but we don't know if/when it would happen until this outbreak has run it's course. I will be cancelling everyone's registrations myself, and you should receive an email updating you that your registration has been canceled.

Please stay safe, and good luck as we all weather this crisis.

April 1 TUG Meeting

Hello all,

We are currently working on the agenda for our upcoming TUG Meeting and will try to get it out to everyone as soon as possible. There is still plenty of time to RSVP if you would like to attend. Right now, we are also working out details to setup a Zoom meeting for those who can't attend but would like to participate in the opening presentations. We'll have more details once we get closer to the event.

We are currently lining up a presenter from Tessitura to start things off. After this presentation, we would like to hear from all of you about Tessitura customizations you might be utilizing that you've found very useful. This could be anything from a custom report or Tessitura Screen, or a unique TNEW feature. Your organization could have created it or you could have used Tessitura consulting services. Presentations don't need to be very formal, just a quick run down of how it works and how it has helped your organization. And then prepare to possibly answer some questions. If you have an idea and would like me to put you down, please contact me directly.

Lastly we are planning to have pre-packaged meals catered for everyone in attendance. Because of that we would like to know in advance any dietary restrictions people might have so we have enough meals to accommodate everyone. So if you do plan to attend, please RSVP right away. Once you RSVP or if you already have, please email me directly with your dietary restrictions. If you would like to send your entire organizations requests to me at once, that will work as well. I will respond with a confirmation email to let you know we've received your request. Please contact me again if you do not get a response. If you have no dietary restrictions, you do not need to respond and we'll have a regular lunch set aside for you.

If you need to submit dietary restrictions or are interested in sharing ideas during our presentation time, please contact me at jdillman@unl.edu. I will post again when we have more information for everyone.

UPDATE - TUG Meeting - October 2nd.

Hi Everyone!

We're looking forward to seeing everyone in Omaha on October 2nd. We are changing the time for the meeting to start at 10:30am and ending at 3:00pm (working to get the actual event time changed).

The formal agenda will be sent out next week but items for topics will be a general overview of Analytics and then breakout session by genre to share your dashboard with others (don't forget your laptop). If you have another topic you would like to talk about please send it to myself and Denise by Monday, September 23rd.

Also, lunch will be provided. :)

Hi everyone, also make sure you double check the time zone set under My Settings on the site, since if you have it set to something other than the event's time zone, the site will translate the time for you in the invite email (but will also show both times, the event time and your designated time zone, on the event page).
