I am so grateful that our community of Tessitura users are open to taking the time to share their knowledge, pain points and seek resolutions together. Some of the topics discussed were: - Automatic Renewal of Memberships - The presentation at TLCC was presented by Emily Searles and Emily Allen. They discussed renewable commitment memberships and how to set up your credit card data to ensure increased "auto renewals", pacing email communications to ensure success and steps to take to increase consistent revenue. - Succession Planning and Documentation - TLCC presentation by William Burgoyne and Anne Robichaux. They discussed the importance of documenting not only task lists, but processes and the nuances of a persons work. Its not about just the process of function within our databases but also the why behind the process. Creating a cohesive understanding of "intuitional knowledge" and supporting across departments to ensure that processes meet business needs and collectively works with in each departments workflow. - The Innovator Series - We discussed how the diversification of the events and performance types we present draws in new audience members. We have the power to increase the understanding and enjoyment of art by creating events that focus on hyper local audiences, younger and cross channel engagements. At the same time we can broaden the cultural understanding of our communities and become more inclusive by representing who our community truly is and going to the leaders and artist with in Houston to speak on the culture and voice that is our beautiful city. - Cancelled event revenue and tracking the funds in later seasons. There was a lot of discussion on creating internal processes to ensure once a season is closed that appeals, campaigns etc. are truly closed limiting current users from changing historical data and transactional funds. - Finding Hidden Revenue - TLCC presentation by Steven Dawson. He discussed Velocity-based dynamic pricing, including strategies that have improved the Kennedy Center's revenue in the last season by 6.5%. Some questions that were asked but we didn't find answers for at the time and I hope we can continue those inquiries here in the forum. - Fee transparency as legislation is changing. - V16, how is that transition flowing for your organizations.
