I have a short, personal message I will be posting here and with the Gulf Coast community. I will be retiring on January 31st after 13 fantastic years with Tessitura. I thoroughly enjoyed working with many of you and meeting up over the past decade at community events, TLCC and tradeshows. Know that you are a very special group and I will greatly miss you all. Thanks for the memories and I look forward to seeing you at your venues! While the Ticketing & Customer Service discussion forum is a vital resource for many of our ad hoc questions, the goal of this new group is to create a welcome and open space for community-building amongst our colleagues who share similar positions. We hope to provide various community events throughout the year—social gatherings, educational sessions, and everything in between. Please join us and let us know your thoughts on the direction of your new community! We’ll look forward to seeing you there. We are under construction for a completely new building and performance hall (410 seats). While this is very exciting, our new performance hall does not have the same flexibility for seating our mobility challenged patrons as we did in the past. I see on most organizations websites that the wheelchair, companion, accessible seats (W/C/A) are shown on seating charts. While some give a message when selecting these seats reminding the purchaser that this is a wheelchair seat, I do not see how someone who does not have a mobility issue is prevented from purchasing that seat. A few questions I've been trying to sort out: What if we have sold all our accessible seats before the event is available online to general public? (We offer our membership first opportunity for series and single ticket purchases). Is there a time period that our W/C/A seats need to remain available online? If we are close to selling out, can we sell to any customer? What if we have sold all our accessible seats before the event is available online to general public? How do you manage the night of an event, when all accessible seats are sold and a patron arrives to purchase a ticket who is in a wheelchair and all wheelchair seats have been sold? In our new hall, we will need to remove 2 chairs to seat a wheelchair...does anyone else have a similar situation and how do you manage this online. Any information you are able to share will be very welcomed! I thank you in advance, Marina.

Forum Post: TLCC2018 - Day Passes

Hi everyone, TLCC2018 will be my first conference.
