We just recently did our upgrade to v16 (woo!), but we have ran into a slight challenge with the way that we process donor society memberships because they are separate from our general membership campaign, but included in our unrestricted annual fund campaign. V16 does not want us to have both membership connected and non-membership connected contributions in the same campaign. Has anyone else run into this? We here at the New Britain Museum of American Art will have had Tessitura for 1 year on July 1 of this year (so currently a little over 6 months in). We are trying to make the system work better for us in our next fiscal year, and have come across quite a few challenges. I would love to know if other museums using Tessitura in our area have come across the same problems. Any and all advice would be great. Problem 1: Logging Volunteer Hours in Tessitura under each person's constituent Problem 2: "Free With General Admission" Programs: what is the best way to track body count attendance vs overall participation? For example if 1 patron purchases GA tickets, but then also participates in a Drop-In Tour and Concert. Those 2 seem to be our biggest issues right now, but we want to make sure it gets done right. If anyone can give insight of how they do these at their museum, that would be great! The NETC Planning committee is looking for a few volunteers to present at our virtual NETC Meeting in January! On January 19th at 4pm, we are planning on holding a zoom gathering on the topic of Tessitura Integrations. We are hoping to have a few community members share out a "map" of your organization's tech stacks, so that other members can see how all of the pieces of the tessitura ecosystem work at your organization. For example, we would love to hear who your organization uses as an email marketing platform, do you append data from a wealth screening engine, are you selling digital performances using a video streaming partner, did you build a custom website with a web design partner, or other ways you "plug in" to the database. Has your organization migrated to Tessitura Merchant Services? We would love an example of a New England organization who has added merchant services to their tech stack to present! We are looking forward to hearing about the different projects your teams are working on to leverage Tessitura's deep connections to ecosystem partners! Note that no technical experience is necessary to present at this event! You do not need to have all the answers, we are looking for presenters with a willingness to share what their organization is working towards, and ask questions and learn with the community along the way. If you are interested in sharing a 3-5 minute quick presentation from your organization, please email me at cburke@celebrityseries.org and I will connect you with the planning committee. Looking forward to our virtual January meeting!
