Welcome to the Tessitura Network Community

The Tessitura Network Community is where Tessitura users come together to ask questions, share ideas, and learn from each other's experience. Whether you are new to Tessitura or have been using it for years, this is a place to find practical answers, connect with peers at other organisations, and stay up to date with product developments.

This article will help you get your bearings and make the most of your membership from day one. We recommend two things to start: completing your profile and joining the groups most relevant to you.

Step 1: Complete your profile

Your profile helps other members understand who you are and what you work on. A complete profile makes it easier for colleagues across the Tessitura community to connect with you and give you relevant, contextual answers.

To update your profile:

Select your profile icon in the top-right corner of any page.
Choose Profile from the dropdown menu.
Select Edit Profile.

We recommend completing the following:

Profile photo — a headshot helps other members put a face to a name, especially if you attend Tessitura conferences or regional events.
Bio — a sentence or two about your role and the areas of Tessitura you work with most.

Tip: Mentioning specific modules or functions in your bio — such as TNEW, ticketing, marketing, or finance — helps other members know when your experience is relevant to their question.

Setting your time zone

The community hosts events, webinars, and group activities. These display in your local time, but only if your time zone is set correctly. We strongly recommend doing this when you first join so that event times are always accurate for you.

To set your time zone:

Select your profile icon in the top-right corner.
Choose Settings from the dropdown menu.
Select the Options tab.
Find the Time Zone field and select your local time zone.
Save your changes.

Tip: If an event time ever looks wrong, check your time zone setting first — this is the most common cause.

Step 2: Join your groups

The community is organised into groups by region, product area, and topic. Joining the right groups means your activity feed will surface the conversations most relevant to your work, without having to search for them each time.

We suggest joining two types of group to start:

Your regional community group — connect with other Tessitura users in your area, stay informed about local events, and find peers who share your regional context.
Topical or affinity groups — these cover specific product areas, roles, and interests such as TNEW, ticketing, marketing, finance, and more. Join the ones that match your day-to-day responsibilities.

To find and join groups:

Select Community from the main navigation.
Browse the group list or use search to find groups by name or topic.
Open a group and select Join.

Tip: You can join as many groups as you like and leave them at any time. Start with the ones closest to your core work and expand from there.

What to do next

Once your profile is complete and you have joined your groups, you are ready to take part. A few good next steps:

Browse recent discussions in forums or in your groups to see what others are talking about.
Use search to check whether a question you have has already been answered.
Post a question or share an idea to the ideas board — the community grows through member contributions.
Follow specific discussions to get notified when there is new activity on topics you care about.
